Every month, Harris-Jackson students learn about important Soft Skills that will prepare them for college, careers, the armed forces and life in general. For the month of September, we shared morning announcements, classroom lessons and student activities all about the importance of showing RESPECT for self and others.

On Wednesday, October 2nd, we had our first Scholar of the Month Recognition Program to celebrate our Respectful Scholars of the Month. Those students being recognized include: (Kindergarteners) Simran Ghimirey, Denica Jovanovic, Deepjal Gurung, Kordell Thompson and Haiden Sharpes; (1st Graders) Joya Magar, Aayushma Khatiwada, Roshin Sa, Romi Rai and Brinika Gomden; (2nd Graders) Yoreka Gurung, Kamari Stewart, David Cole and Kashindi Ndume; (3rd Graders) Khaled Al Naser, Nabina Mangar and Carter Quinteros; (4th Graders) D’Angelo Brown, Martavion Neal, Burair Fattah, Germaine Rings and Farouq Adetunji; (5th Graders) Jihad Ahmad, Zaela Sutton and Samantha Robinson.
