Ambassadors are Off to a Busy Start

Harris-Jackson student ambassadors have been busy since this past summer. Several of them attended a community cookout at Open M to represent Akron Public Schools. They handed out goodies and reminded families about the Backpack Adventure at the Zoo, kindergarten registration, and the importance of showing random acts of kindness.




We also had some ambassadors start the year off early by attending the APS Staff Convocation. They welcomed staff members back for their first day of work, led North Cluster staff in the Pledge of Allegiance, and even posed with Superintendent Fowler Mack!





Ambassadors have already been busy welcoming new students to Harris-Jackson by providing tours. Some served at Open House, and some have already served as greeters for special guests and visitors to the building.
