This week, students are welcome to wear holiday/winter-themed clothing each day. It is NOT required. Students are free to wear what they normally wear to school. Please check out the attached SCHEDULE FOR HOLIDAY CHEER WEEK. All days are the same for both buildings, except for next Friday. Only kindergarten students will be wearing pajamas. 

Please check out the Virtual Holiday Program that Mrs. Shorf, our music teacher, did with our students in grades 2 and 4. Enjoy!

Also, we are grateful that our friends at Great Lakes Honda on Pruitt Blvd. started a giving tree at the dealership and many of our students will win free, surprise gifts for the holidays. They are also donating gifts for families and some that will be used for our positive behavior prize drawings each day starting next Monday. Remind your students to show kindness to others and to always follow class, school, and bus rules. Staff members will send a different "Star Student's" name to the office each day for the prize drawings.

We are also thankful for the generosity shown towards our Harris-Jackson families by additional partners and community donors this holiday season: Mrs. Katrina Henry and the Haven of Rest; our Friends of Harris-Jackson (Pam Costa, Mary Hillenbrand, Pat Stuhldreher, Phyllis Parks, Debbie Fickes, Judi Rusk, Nancy Humes, Peggi Bisesi, Melanie Pepe); Firefighters from Station #7!

Remember also that Winter Break starts next Monday, December 20th and ends December 31st. There is an Instructional Improvement Day for staff on Monday, January 3rd There is NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS on January 3rd. Students return to school on Tuesday, January 4th.
