Remembering Fun Moments - Reverse Parade

Remembering Fun Moments - Reverse Parade
Posted on 12/18/2020
During the first half of this school year, we have continued to find ways to safely bring our Harris-Jackson community together. During a typical school year, we would enjoy some type of fall harvest celebration or a traditional Halloween celebration with parties, costumes, candy and parades. Like so many other things, Covid-19 has made it necessary to be creative in thinking of ways to still provide some of those fun, memorable events for our students and their families.

This year, we decided to have a "Reverse Parade." Our Harris-Jackson staff dressed in costumes and our students and their families were invited to "drive through" our parking lot to check us out. Hundreds of vehicles came to the school to participate!! Making it even sweeter...our staff had candy and other treats to pass out to our special attendees. Some of our students even joined in by dressing up in costumes as well!
