Dear Harris-Jackson Families:
The City of Akron is changing the traffic flow and parking procedures during school hours. Please refer to the
attached map and the “Key Index” listed on the “Harris-Jackson CLC Traffic Flow Pattern” form. (The Traffic Flow Pattern pages go together. The numbers listed on the Key Index match up with certain spots on the map.)
Main changes to notice are:
- Traffic will still be one-way on Clifton, but parking will no longer be allowed on both sides of the street.
- No parking will be allowed at all on Birchwood Ave.
- Parking on Clifton Ave. and Riverside Dr. is only allowed on the right side (the school side).
- New street signs will go up over Winter Break.
Please remember to practice patience and courtesy as we all try to adjust to this latest change. Keep in mind that one of our main goals is to keep all kids and families safe.
These changes will take place beginning after Winter Break (January 7, 2020)
