Nowadays, most of our time is spent at home. Harris-Jackson staff and students have only been able to see each other through computer screens.Those normal, end-of-year celebrations have been put on hold. However, our Harris-Jackson PTA President (Dawn Dietz) and Treasurer (Lora Palmer) decided to get creative when it came time to celebrate Staff Appreciation Week. They worked with Principal Aller and Miss Heath to organize a drive-through gift giveaway for staff members on May 10th!

They brought a few helpers from home, hung up some posters, and got in position. It was a chilly Saturday, but a wonderful experience as part of our Harris-Jackson community was able to reconnect for a brief moment. Almost 50 staff members participated in the gift giveaway!
