Spirit Week Kicks off our Kindness Challenge
Posted on 02/22/2020
Our school kicked off its Great Kindness Challenge (sponsored by the Arby’s Foundation) with a Spirit Week!
Check out the pictures below to see how our staff and students came together to highlight the importance of showing acts of kindness each day.

Our Day 1 theme was: “Kindness Ties Us All Together.” Staff and students were encouraged to wear bow ties, neckties, bows in their hair or a tie dye shirt.

Our Day 2 theme was: “Hats Off to Kindness.” Staff and students were encouraged to wear their favorite hat to school.

Our Day 3 theme was: “Team Up and Show Kindness.” Staff and students wore their favorite sports or team shirt or jersey.

Our Day 4 theme was: “Kindness is a Bright Idea.” Staff and students wore sunglasses to school.

Our Day 5 theme was: “Have a Heart. Be Kind.” Staff and students were decked out in jeans and red shirts.

We have other activities planned throughout the month to stress the importance of being kind and respectful, including a Daily Kindness Bingo game, a Food Drive (to benefit Good Neighbors), a Family Edition Kindness Challenge, and the development of our Kindness Ambassadors.
