On Thursday, September 5th, all Harris-Jackson students attended Behavior Expectations Assemblies. During these assemblies the School Principal, Dean of Students and School Counselor presented to students about behavior expectations and incentives and positive programming in place at Harris-Jackson.

Students learned about the building focus of showing RESPECT for self and others in the classroom and all other common areas of the building. Students also learned about our Scholar of the Month Program and all of the Soft Skills that are taught and practiced on a daily basis. Students also learned about additional positive behavior supports and school wide programs such as our Caught Ya Card program, Clip Chart behavior management system, and our 95% Attendance Club. Students were also reminded about the importance of being at school every day, on time, so they can learn as much as possible and take advantage of all of the great programs in place at our school.
