Every month, Harris-Jackson students learn about important Soft Skills that will prepare them for college, careers, the armed forces and life in general. For the month of January, we shared morning announcements, classroom lessons and student activities all about the importance of being DEPENDABLE. We looked for students who keep their work and those who can be counted on to do what’s right.
On Wednesday, February 5th, we held our Scholar of the Month Recognition Program to celebrate our DEPENDABLE Scholars. Those students recognized included: (Kindergarteners) Amisha Tirwa, Naliza Balampaki, Princess Norris-Carrington, Blagoje Vegara, Harlem Bell, Penelope Haney; (1st Graders) Krishal Kuikel, Seekumhang Subba, Isaac Belmont, Bently Moyer, Derrell Christian; (2nd Graders) Aayan Akhikari, Rewas Adhikari, Kaylee Ramos-Caris, John Bushel (3rd Graders) Deena Rai, Iksha Rai, Tyqwan Townsend; (4th Graders) Ashim Subba, Shreeya Kattel, Jada Willis-Brown, Lola Palmer; (5th Graders) Newang Sherpa, Hamisi Petro, Tanyiah Thomas, Albert Ndume.
