JA & Huntington VolunteersApril 25th brought many special visitors to the halls and classrooms at Harris-Jackson CLC! For the second year in a row, our students have the opportunity to learn and have some fun as well by participating in JA (Junior Achievement) in a Day. Each grade level explored JA curriculum broken up into five stations/sessions throughout the day. The students had opportunities to participate in hands-on activities as they learned about finances, entrepreneurship, careers and more.

The grade-level activities centered around:
Kindergarten - JA Ourselves
1st Grade - JA Our Families
2nd Grade - JA Our Community
3rd Grade - JA Our City
4th Grade - JA Our Region
5th Grade - JA Our Nation

We are so thankful to our JA Coordinator, Denice Schafer, and all of our partners and volunteers from Junior Achievement and Huntington Bank for making this day a success for our students!
