Welcome Back Incredible Years

This year we are excited to welcome back Incredible Years (Child Guidance) to our Harris-Jackson community. This past January, facilitators began supporting our kindergarten students at the annex. This year, they have returned to the main building to help get our kindergarteners off to a positive start.

The Incredible Years® Classroom Dinosaur School program is an evidence-based prevention program that focuses on improving social and emotional skills, problem-solving skills, and academic competence. The Incredible Years ® programs for children utilize dinosaur-themed materials and life-size puppets to capture children's attention and improve their social-emotional skills and capabilities in various areas, such as building friendships, controlling anger, resolving problems, adhering to school rules, and other applicable skills. 

This is a great opportunity for our kindergarten students.
