On Wednesday, April 16th, the Harris-Jackson community enjoyed a musical performance presented by Mrs. Calhoun (music teacher) and the first graders and second graders. Not only was there singing and dancing, but students also showcased their skill with playing instruments and with acting/drama. Mrs. Paskey (art teacher) also put the students' artwork on display that was based on the theme of the Rainbow Concert. Some grade levels enjoyed the concert in person, while other grade levels watched virtually from the comfort of their classrooms. We were also delighted to welcome family members of first and second grade performers who joined us to support their scholars.
This was a job well done, and took much preparation. Great job Mrs. Calhoun, first and second grade teams, our custodial staff, specials teachers, and everyone who helped with setup and breakdown in the cafeteria and gymnasium.
