On Thursday, September 19th, Harris-Jackson hosted the Akron Public Schools annual Family & Fathers Walk. Fathers and other family members were invited to drive or walk their students to school and stay with us for part of the morning. Families were invited in where they were offered coffee, donuts, and a special thank you gift. Fathers and family members were then invited to escort their students to their homerooms. We are always pleased when opportunities bring our students' families into the building to share part of the day with us!
We are also thankful that some of our student ambassadors were able to support the event by directing families.
