Ambassadors & Student Leaders Training Side by Side

On Wednesday, October 9th, Student Ambassadors and Student Leaders received their introductory training session for the school year. Trainings and other learning experiences and opportunities will take place all year long. This first training covered material including: representing the school community, communication styles and skills, guidelines for giving effective tours, and welcoming others. 

Most ambassadors and student leaders are brand new to these positions. Due to redistricting, all fourth and fifth graders had a chance to apply and interview to serve in the school community as an ambassador, student leader, and/or peer buddy. The students are eager to get started with leading and serving.
